Snowsports

I've been telling people I meet on assignment that 80 percent of the assignments I shoot I wear snow pants for. Meaning, most days I'm outdoors taking pictures. I think that figure is pretty close to the truth, though it could be closer to 90. Saturday I went north to photograph a biathlon. Cross country skiing plus target shooting equals a wicked good time.

Savannah and Holten (the kids in the photo) each hit 13 of their 15 shots. For comparison I hit 5 out of 10 with a gun that cost two grand more. Someone needs to practice up.

For the past three years this roll of film has been knocking around in my car and today (my first day in Concord, NH) I decided to finally get it developed. It was pretty fun to see what turned up. Family, friends and a trip to Eagle Village to climb.

Meat and Greet

This was a Saturday that I photographed last fall on the local beef shoots that go on around Dubois county. The next few days I'll try to catch up on some of the Jasper photos that got lost along the way before I start with photos from 2011.
