History

Well, to be more specific, my history. Mom was going through old photos to put together a slideshow for my grandpa's 80th birthday party and these photos turned up. They are my grandparents. I wish I had a good photo of mom and dad to complete it... I'll have to search around. Oddly enough, I don't tend to take pictures of those I'm closest to.

(re: rodeo pics)
Neil, thanks for the comment,
turns out I am a "card carrying member" (so funny they said that to you makes me think of the NRA) and did have my pass, but i don't think it really made a difference. Usually the bigger the rodeo the harder the access is. This rodeo was pretty small so I just climbed over the fence. and stayed out of everyones way. Another trick is, the announcer booth is usually always above the chutes, so you could just pretend to be official and be like I need to get to the booth and then just hang out there. Another idea is well before the rodeo just call the organizers and say you are a freelance photographer working on a long term project on the culture of rodeo ....blah blah blah...something like this and you would really enjoy a photo credential or play up that you are a student and doing a project. Alot of times they won't even have them (photo passes) but will be fine with you just coming along. I am kinda a rodeo junkie so I'm stoked people look at those pics. Take care, liked the winter pics, looks fun.
