Baseball and softball are back! These are a few favorites from my first week shooting these American pastimes. For the record, my baseball career started and ended in the third grade. I struck out almost every time but by some miracle I did manage to hit one beautiful double right over the second baseman.

I rotated to the night shift just in time for districts and regionals for our local basketball teams. It's the best time to shoot, and it brought back a lot of memories of shooting basketball here when I freelanced in college for the Daily News and of shooting for The Herald in Jasper (where basketball is king). Here are a few from my shift.
